No matter what your connection to stuttering is or where you are on your stuttering journey, we are here.
No matter what your connection to stuttering is or where you are on your stuttering journey, we are here.
We provide continued support, conferences, and top-tier resources to all members of the stuttering community – people who stutter, professionals, and families. We also continue to advocate for better understanding of stuttering and the needs of PWS, and serve as a referral organization for speech therapy resources when desired.
The NSA provides funding for one research project annually in the area of stuttering treatment, stuttering assessment, or basic research in stuttering, with the intent of being used as start-up or support money for new or continuing research in the field of stuttering.
NSA Chapters are powerful spaces where people who stutter can connect directly with the stuttering community. People who stutter experience the life-changing power of attending a chapter where they can share their stories, bond with fellow people who stutter and allies, and embrace the support of our ever-growing community.
It is through your donations and support that we are able to do what we do. We have several giving options into funds dedicated to certain specialty areas. Join a devoted group of supporters who understand the important role the NSA can play in the lives of people who stutter and those who love and support them.
The stuttering community consists of some of the most talented & inspiring professionals you’d ever want to meet.
“I choose to be a ChangeMaker so that the NSA is able to continue their work to find and embrace everyone who stutters but does not yet know that the NSA exists.”
– Allison D.
“The NSA has had a radical effect on my personal and professional life. Through their programs, I have formed long-lasting friendships, developed confidence, and widened my worldview. I hope to continue supporting the NSA for as long as I am able.”

“Our monthly support of the NSA helps to provide lasting, important resources and connections not just for us, but for the future generations of PWS who come after us.”
