Don’t Tell Me to ‘Slow Down’ 5k & Kids Dash – Raleigh

Join us for the Don’t Tell Me To ‘Slow Down’ 5K – Run/Walk and ‘Kids Dash’ benefiting people who stutter and the NSA! This event is a fantastic opportunity for families to get outside and get moving, all for the benefit of people who stutter.

SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY OCTOBER 26th
7:45am – On site registration and packet pick up
9:00 am – 5K & Family Fun Run
10:00 am – Kids Dash
10:30am – Awards Ceremony and Runners Raffle
Not in the area where these are being held? You can still join us as a virtual participant! Simply select ‘Virtual Runner’ when you register, then complete the race on your own time, in your own area.
All participants will receive a swag bag, and pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt.
Packet pickup for the 5K run/walk will be on October 25th at Fleet Feet in Morrisville (3027 Village Market Place Morrisville, NC 27560) from 5:00- 7:00PM. Packet pickup is also available the day of the race, along with same day registration, starting at 8:00AM.
Awards and Timing
This is a timed race. Awards presented to the top 3 overall finishers, and to the top 3 finishers in the following age categories: 11-15; 16-22; 23-29; 30-49; 50+
All pre-registered participants are guaranteed a special event t-shirt! All sizes are unisex. Shirt availability and/or sizes are not guaranteed for on-site registrants.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the NSA Scholarship Fund, helping individuals and families with financial difficulties to attend our National Stuttering Association Annual Conference.
