Houston Stuttering Fun Day

Join us for a fun day of workshops and activities for kids, teens, and their families. Kids and teens will laugh, learn, and make friends with others who stutter. Parents will learn from respected professionals in the stuttering community and connect with other parents. This Stuttering Fun Day is a special opportunity where all attendees will feel supportive and welcomed.

Speakers & Facilitators
Nina Reeves, MS, CCC-SLP BCS-FD
Nina is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, and is a Board Certified Specialist in Fluency Disorders. With over 30 years of experience, Nina brings a unique insight into working with those who stutter and their families and brings practical expertise to her colleagues who work with those who stutter.
Lee is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NSA and has been active in self-help for stuttering for over 40 years. He has presented numerous workshops for the NSA and has spoken to both consumer and professional groups on the value of self-help.
Tessa is a published author and visual storyteller as well as a person who stutters. Tessa currently works for the Houston Texans as a Video Production Assistant and is the Co-Host of a Texas travel show called YOLO TX. She’s a Texas State grad who started her sports media career in 2015 working for the San Antonio Spurs as a Digital Producer before transitioning to On-Camera reporting. Tessa has interviewed professional athletes throughout the state of Texas all while being a person who stutters.
