Reducing the Stigma of Stuttering: Developing an Action Plan

June 29 @ 8:00 am - July 1 @ 10:00 am PDT

Reduce the Stigma of Stuttering: Developing an Action Plan

The time has come to develop an action plan to reduce the stigma of stuttering. This groundbreaking event will convene people who stutter, speech-language pathologists, human resource officers and other corporate, industry, media leaders, researchers, scientists, academics and stuttering allies. Together, we will develop a roadmap to destigmatize stuttering in society, increase public understanding of stuttering, improve career opportunities for people who stutter with employers, and ease the burden of stuttering for those affected by public stigma and self-stigma. This will be an intense two and a half days of in-depth analysis, cross-disciplinary breakout sessions, and group project planning.

To best facilitate discussion and development of an action plan, attendance will be capped at 75 participants. Register today to be part of this leading-edge event.
