As we all know, kids and teens who stutter can face a variety challenges during the school day. Two of those challenges are oral reading and oral presentations, particularly when the student is timed or graded. Teachers and speech-language pathologists are often unsure about how to assess reading fluency and comprehension accurately when the student’s speech might not be fluent.
