Imagine not being able to say what you want. That’s the challenge that faces the 3 million Americans who stutter. National Stuttering Awareness Week, May 13 to 19, seeks to educate the public about this widespread but often misunderstood and frustrating speech disorder.This week is important, said Annie Bradberry, past executive director of the National Stuttering Association, to help get the word out that “If you stutter, you’re not alone”.
