Jeff Olevson is from Santa Clara, California, which is in the heart of Silicon Valley. The NSA is near and dear to his heart and he has been involved with this organization since 2002. Jeff is the Co-Leader of the San Jose Chapter. After serving as the Regional Chapter Coordinator (RCC) for the Southwest region (several years ago), the South Central region and the Northeast region, he is now back to being the RCC for the Southwest Region.
Jeff’s professional background is in meteorology, where he has worked for more than 6 years as a data analyst for a ship routing company. About 10 years ago, he decided to do a career change into the accounting field. He currently works as an administrative assistant for a tax firm specializing in state sales tax.
Jeff enjoys doing other volunteer work. He has served on the youth services committee of the Sunnyvale Rotary Club and has also been the program chair and secretary. Jeff is currently the president of his Rotary Club. He has given numerous presentations about stuttering to Rotary Clubs, SLP classes at the local colleges and other groups. Aside from Rotary, he is an alumni advisor to his fraternity from college.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys listening to music and working out.
