Jeff Olevson is from Santa Clara, California, which is in the heart of Silicon Valley. The NSA is near and dear to his heart and has been involved in the NSA since 2002. Jeff is the Chapter Co-Leader of the San Jose Chapter. After serving as the Regional Chapter Coordinator (RCC) for the Southwest Region, he is now the RCC for the Northeast Region.
Jeff’s professional background is in meteorology, where he has worked for more than 6 years as a data analyst for a ship routing company. Several years ago, Jeff decided to do a career change in the accounting field. He currently works for a sales tax firm specializing in multistate tax solutions. His goal is to become a CPA.
Jeff also enjoys doing volunteer work. Besides being in the NSA, he is a member of his local rotary club, where he is involved with Youth Services. He is also part of an accounting networking group called the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA), where he serves his local club as the Hospitality Chair.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys listening to music and working out.
