Jolie, the Secretary of Sisters Who Stutter (SWS) and an active member of the National Stuttering Association (NSA), is a vibrant 16-year-old dedicated to empowering others who stutter. A high school cheerleader, Jolie exudes energy, positivity, and a commitment to personal growth. She began stuttering at the age of 3, and while it has been a challenge, Jolie is on a journey of self-acceptance and resilience, using her experiences to inspire others.
Jolie has been deeply involved in the NSA community, finding support, encouragement, and connection among peers who share similar experiences. She is thrilled to take on a new leadership role as part of the Teen Advisory Council (TAC), where she looks forward to advocating for teens who stutter and creating an inclusive environment that celebrates their unique voices.
Outside of her leadership and advocacy work, Jolie enjoys spending her free time immersed in her favorite activities. She loves reading, exploring new destinations while traveling, and savoring Italian food. Her passion for dogs highlights her nurturing and compassionate nature, qualities that shine through in all aspects of her life.
Jolie’s role as Secretary of SWS and her active involvement in the NSA demonstrate her dedication to making a positive impact. With her drive, empathy, and enthusiasm, Jolie is helping to create a stronger, more supportive community for people who stutter.
