Sisters Who Stutter Event Coordinator

Rowan is the Chair of Sisters Who Stutter (SWS), a group within the National Stuttering Association (NSA) dedicated to empowering and supporting girls who stutter. As Chair, Rowan is a passionate advocate for building confidence and fostering connections among girls who share similar experiences. She takes pride in leading SWS and contributing to its mission of creating a safe, inclusive, and uplifting community.

An accomplished athlete, Rowan has been a member of her school’s Varsity Swim Team since 7th grade, demonstrating her dedication and perseverance both in and out of the water. In addition to swimming, she participates in Track and Field and is a skilled long-distance runner, showcasing her drive and commitment to achieving her goals.

Beyond her athletic pursuits, Rowan dreams of a future in archaeology, a field that combines her curiosity, love for history, and passion for exploration. Her vision for the future reflects her adventurous spirit and her desire to uncover and connect with the past.

Rowan is grateful for the friendships and sense of belonging she has found through the NSA. The organization has played a pivotal role in her journey, helping her embrace her stutter and empowering her to inspire others. With her leadership, enthusiasm, and ambition, Rowan continues to make a meaningful impact within the NSA and beyond.
