Steven was born and raised in the southwest, and attended his first NSA conference in 2017. He left feeling inspired and wanting to help others who stutter. He started attending meetings at Cal State Northridge near LA and eventually became Chapter Co-Leader. The NSA has changed Steven’s life and his perspective on stuttering. After growing up in denial about his speech, he learned about acceptance after attending his first conference, he started to stutter openly and proudly.

Steven is a member of his local Toastmaster’s group in Boulder, Colorado, leads projects and speaks directly to clients at his job, and is an advocate for people who stutter whenever he can.
