There are many ways you can contribute to the conference. Check out the suggestions below to get you started!
Donate an Auction Item
Going once…going twice…SOLD! Consider some of these ideas to inspire you when thinking of items to donate for the NSA live and silent auctions. All money raised through the auction helps fuel the NSA to continue to change lives. So, what can you think of to contribute!?
- Gift certificates for national chains or DC-area businesses
- Food and entertainment passes (national chains)
- Professional services
- Autographed memorabilia
- Handmade arts and crafts
- Family games and toys
- Electronics
- Free stay in your vacation condo/timeshare
- Tickets/parking passes to a professional sporting event
- Monthly club delivery – flower of the month, wine of the month, cupcake of the month
- Anything signature to your state that you can contribute to your chapter’s basket!

Present a Workshop
Have an idea for a workshop? Fill out a Workshop Proposal Form (coming soon!) and return it to us to submit your idea. We are always looking for new, appropriate and original workshops. You might just be chosen as a workshop leader at this year’s conference!
Adult Workshops
Pick your topic and make a presentation, facilitate a group activity or another idea you have that might enrich the lives of our members.
Family Programs Workshops
Ever wanted to lead or assist a workshop for our kids, teens, or parents? This year’s programming for families offers many new choices for our families to choose from, and we need inspirational and energetic workshop leaders to facilitate the workshops. Alternatively, if you have an original workshop idea we would love to hear it! It could be a presentation, art project, music activity, or any other fun idea. We are looking for the kids to have a good time with their new friends, for the teens to share and grow, and the parents to find answers to their questions and gain support.
Request a Donation
Consider soliciting family, friends, or a favorite or local business, inviting them to forge a partnership with the NSA by making a donation. Feel free to use our Auction Letter Template.
Make a Conference Donation
Make a special donation to the NSA and earmark it to go toward something that is near and dear to your heart. Perhaps you want to put money toward a scholarship that will help someone afford to attend the conference, or provide funding that will go toward supplies for a specific workshop? Either way, your contribution is always tax-deductible.
Become a Corporate Sponsor
You can show your support by becoming a corporate sponsor and buying an ad in our conference program (remember, your donation is tax-deductible!).
