The National Stuttering Association (NSA), the world’s largest support association for individuals affected by stuttering is committed to advancing knowledge, understanding and treatment of stuttering through research. In 1998 the NSA established a Research Committee to help enhance researches access to those affected by stuttering. In addition the NSA hosted the first ever joint symposium for scientists and consumers. The NSA is pleased to bring researchers and their work to the stuttering community in many ways, including a variety of research surveys in which members of the community can serve as research participants.
