National Stuttering Association
Have you ever wanted to learn about improv? Have you ever wondered how it can impact your personal and professional development while enhancing your overall confidence? Well, we have an event you might want to check out. Our own NSA’er Kunal Majahan and his employer, SMBC, are hosting a virtual event on Thursday, May 26, from 12:30 PM to 2:30PM (ET).
The organization’s employee-led enterprise resource group UNIQUE has partnered with Magnet Theater to teach employees how to work together to create spontaneous comedy through improv scenes. In prior years, workshop attendees learned the importance of being open, honest, authentic, stepping outside of one’s comfort zone, active listening, relatability, and maintaining an honest connection.
Together, we can understand how the principles of improv can influence how we show up each day and find our voices together. During this event, you will have the opportunity to try out some scenes yourself!
