Chadwick Hedgepeth (CJ) is 23 years old and currently a first-year graduate student at the University of Virginia in the Speech Pathology program. CJ is also a member of the Haliwa-Saponi tribe in North Carolina. CJ says that he has struggled with having a stutter since he could speak, and like many people who stutter, has been in and out of speech therapy, which is one reason he fell in love with speech pathology. CJ is particularly interested in research in the area of stuttering, and looks forward to connecting with more people during his time on the Young Adults Committee!
