Rowan is eighteen and a senior at Cook County High School in Grand Marais, Minnesota.  He is very active in his community’s theater and band programs, in which he does not let his stutter hold him back: he was recently one of the lead roles in his community’s 2022 summer musical, and he also works at an art store where he proudly wears an “I stutter” badge on his uniform.  Rowan joined the TAC in 2019 after his second conference, for which he is now serving as the Teen Program Coordinator as of September 2022.  He is committed to serving the NSA with gratitude, hoping to give others the same sense of welcome and community as the NSA gave him.
