John A. Tetnowski, CCC-SLP, BCS-F, ASHA-F, is the Ben Blanco Endowed Professor in Communicative Disorders at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. He is the coordinator of the PhD program in Applied Language and Speech Sciences, where he has brought many doctoral students to the NSA. He was the 2016 Distinguished Professor at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and is a Board Certified Fluency Specialist. He is a Fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and was the 2006 NSA Speech-Pathologist of the Year. He is a long time member and supporter of the NSA. This is his second stint on the NSA Board where he previously led the Professional Relations and Research Committees. His goal as the Fund Raising Chair is to narrow the gap between NSA income and expenses through a fundraising and awareness campaign that includes a large portion of the NSA membership that so greatly benefits from its mission.
